Being surrounded by fruit bushes in her mother’s garden nourished Alicja’s love of all things fruity. Today she grows as many fruits as her tiny urban yard in Montreal allows, and makes preserves, juices, and baked goods from her harvest. Alicja is a certified Master Gardener and is currently studying horticulture at the University of Saskatchewan with a specialization in fruit and vegetable growing. She is passionate about regenerative agriculture, with experience working for a public permaculture garden. She hopes to have more room to play one day.
